It's X(tera)-Mas Party

This is such a late upload.

Aside from Congress, I also work at Xtera. A company owned by my good friend Ocel Calmada, who happens to be such a generous employer.

Photos of the said Christmas Party that took place last December 16, 2013 at the roofdeck if Tivoli Garden Residences in Mandaluyong City. I served as a Host for this occasion.

Preppin up for the party. Apologize for this annoying selfie; also a check-up if everything is in place and I look good on camera

Here now at the lobby of Tivoli Residences

For the love of Chicken and Music

Flapjack & Centerstage

UK Based Hazel and Arnel Bandelaria, US Based Mark Go and Company and Forever Philippine based Bibo, in one night of holiday bonding. Our common denominator-- love for KARAOKE!

While waiting for others to arrived, Hazel and I decided to have dinner first at Flapjack Greenbelt-2. As usual, Chicken Meal is my comfort food so I settled for it.

And what followed were hours of OPEN MIC at Centerstage Makati Avenue. Goodtimes!

Karaoke'd my lungs out

Sandwiched with two balladers. The Battle & Bottle ROUNDS. haha

You'll never remember class or office time, but you'll always remember time you wasted with your friends. So stay out late, go out with your friends. Sing and drink the night away.

Let me share this quote I came across from someone post's on Facebook:

Life is too short to be sad all the time, so laugh everyday, smile when you want to cry, love the ones that care for you, forget the ones that don't, hang out with friends whenever possible, regret nothing because at one time it was everything you wanted, never backstab someone cause they will backstab you back, and just live life to the fullest because you only get one life.

Happy Holidays!!!

Until then,

BIBO

There's noTHIN like it!

Foodtrippin with Coolai

We don't just enjoy parties and clubbing, we are also "twosome" foodies. After our Beach escapade, Coolai and I met up for some food adventure.

Personally, before I hit the (buffet) table, I set a fitness goal – typically, one hour of fitness (be it running on a treadmill or lifting some not so heavy weights) then I knew I deserve some carb-loading session.

Our Destination:

You are the "BANAPPLE OF MY EYES"

You'll surely go banana at Banapple with their friendly atmosphere that serves freshly-baked pies, cheesecakes and desserts as well as good food and coffee.

Just like my previous review on Cafe Mary Grace, Banapple is also a good place to relax, grab some coffee or read a good book. It has something to do with their country-inspired interior that looks very homey. (Check out their branch along Katipunan Avenue and Il Terrazo as among their best locations and the nearest branches where my family lives in Quezon City).

The cakes never disappoint.

Here are some of my favorites ( and that I usually order) and recommended menus from their selection:

For desserts:

Bibo Bayona, banapple
Honey Carrot Cheesecake "nibble your way into the graham crust, and start jumpin' around in cinnamon cream cheese filled with carrot bits! topped off with glorious carrot-candied cream cheese frosting, this treat is surely a golden egg! :)" (PhP110.00 per slice) and cafe Americano (PhP75.00)

Bibo Bayona, banapple
Banoffee  Pie PhP95.00

Bibo Bayona, banapple
White Chocolate Truffle Berry Cheesecake (PhP110.00) Capuccino (PhP85.00)

Entrees

Bibo Bayona, banapple
Hungarian Chorizo al Ajillo (185.00)

Bibo Bayona, banapple
Garlic Beef Tapa with Creamed Parsley Eggs (PhP185.00)- their version of Tapa is really to die for

Bibo Bayona, banapple
My before and after look. Worth it! Menus were served almost good for two. Tastes are great, cute ambiance

Bibo Bayona, banapple
I have consistent words for this place: yummy, yummy, yummy and Garlic Beef Tapa with Creamed Parsley Eggs all day breakfast set...

Salad:

It's affordable and portions are big. Both of these that I ordered on 2 separate occssions cost PhP120.00 per serving. And it's tasteful!
Bibo Bayona, banapple
Super Caesar Salad

Bibo Bayona, banapple
Item
Banapple's House Salad
And never forget to bring some for your family. Share what you most enjoy!

Feeling Homey at Cafe Mary Grace

It always leave me satisfied whenever I get the chance to dine-in or just enjoyin a coffee & bread moment at Cafe Mary Grace.

Bibo Bayona, food, foodtrip
Enjoying my me-time moment with Home-made Iced Tea Wild Raspberry Php75.00 and their signature Apple Pie ala-mode (Php 252.00)
Bibo Bayona, food, foodtrip
A nice go-to place for meeting and brainstorming

And since I'm a self-confessed coffee-addict, these are their pastries that go best with it;

Bibo Bayona, food, foodtrip
Ensaymada Php73.00 and I'm not exaggerating that this is the best tasting ensaymada in town. From what I heard, this is how their success story started-- a great tasting bakery for ensaymada and now they have very nice cafes spread out in the metro. This is best eaten with a cup of Cappucino (PhP98.00)

Bibo Bayona, food, foodtrip
Brewed Coffee (PhP79.00) and Apple Pie (Php135.00)

Bibo Bayona, food, foodtrip
Brewed Coffee (PhP79.00) and a slice of Tiramisu (PhP110.00) also make an ideal combo

You can check out the Mary Grace Cafe at the ground floor of Greenbelt 2, Makati City for a nice shop interior and a great dining experience.

A good dine or 'meryenda' need not be expensive. Go and explore Manille! And check out Cafe Mary Grace. Highly recommendable.

Until my next foodtrip adventure,

Bibo
